Good solid LED bulb. Construction is first rate. The only issue I have is my fault. I didn't notice that I'd ordered the "daylight" type. They are really bright white. IMO too bright for use in anything that doesn't have a shade like a ceiling fan with open bulbs. If you need very bright light in an area these will get the job done. Don't get me wrong these are great bulbs but realize that they ARE a very bright white color.
In the picture you can see the Amazon bulb in the middle section of my kitchen light compared to the two "warm white" on the ends.
1.0 out of 5 starsI was initially very happy with these lights

I was initially very happy with these lights. They are nice and bright. But in less than a week they have begun to burn out!!! So disappointed. A lot of money to spend and they only last a few days. I would NOT recommend these.
I've used a couple of other brands like Phillips and Twinn and I can say without a doubt, the Amazon basics are the largest led bulb I've come across. They function identically to the other brands they are just physically bigger. In the picture I arrached the amazon bulb is on the left and a Twinn bulb is on the right. These bulbs will not fit in some of the fixtures around the house while the other brands will. If size is a concern, you may want to look into the other brands. If you don't need to worry about the size then these bulbs should work fine.
I bought the 100W replacements, can't be sure about the others but the reviews seem to suggest they are all larger than a standard incandescent that most fixtures are designed for. I have not found anywhere in my house yet that these will actually fit properly except for bare bulb type fixtures, but they usually look out of place there due to being excessively large in comparison. One of my pics shows the bulb size comparison with a standard-size LED bulb from another brand.
For those who are not coincidentally familiar with light bulb dimensions and standardization (as I was when trying to buy a bulb that popped up as a recommendation), apparently "A21" means they are inherently not the same as the traditional incandescent bulbs (or other replacements), which are typically an A19 standard.
I cannot comment on how long these will last but so far, 2 months, they are working rather well. I purchased a box of the daylight and installed 4 of them in my living room ceiling fan fixture, which is about 13 feet in the air. My living room ceiling is a little over 20 feet high. With all 4 daylight bulbs installed my living room is feels like a hospital. The daylight bulbs are a lot more blue than expected. But my original soft white LED bulbs are too yellow. So, at the moment I'm running a staggered temp setup, 2ea daylight and 2ea soft white and my living room is the correct temp I like it. Not sleepy soft white, nor workshop blue. Since my ceiling fan is so high up, I don't really notice the diff bulbs all that much unless I look up at it. I wish there was a mid-range temp bulb.
These are as bright as expected and the warm white color (2700k) is pleasing. The light distribution is even all the way around and there are no ventilation holes (as on other brands) so bugs don't get trapped inside. They are smaller than standard incandescent bulbs and the light only comes out of the upper spherical part of the bulb, so in some installations they won't look exactly like incandescent bulbs. Some other LED bulbs may be better choice if you are trying to imitate the look of old-school bulbs.
There is no way these are equivalent to 100w bulbs as is advertised. In fact, I would say it was a stretch at even 65w. They are bright but not in how most people think of brightness. Its the color range they are in that makes them feel brighter than they actually are. I have one in a very small space, my bathroom. While it is brighter than the old CFL bulb I replaced, its due to the color shift from warm yellow light to much harsher pure white. I personally like a more daylight light than a yellow light but in comparing them to traditional bulb, they are not nearly as bright.
Overall, they are ok bulbs but I have yet to find a led light bulb that makes me say, finally, a good lightbulb worthy of incandescent bulbs.
Just installed in an outdoor lamp post 3 days ago. Somewhat disappointed as it is not as bright as a typical 75 watt incandescent bulb (as advertised), more like a 60 watt. An industry standard 60 watt incandescent bulb output is about 800 lumens. But that's ok if it lasts outdoors. Color is good and very close to an incandescent bulb. The lamp post light is on all night/every night using a photocell sensor. I'll post later on it's durability.
Overall this seems to be a pretty good product, but used side by side with a 5000k Great Value bulb that actually uses a bit fewer watts (I want to say 8 instead of 10.5), this light actually isn't *quite* as bright or clear. It has just a tiny bit more of a yellowish tint which doesn't say "daylight" in my mind. It wouldn't be that noticeable if they weren't next to each other. The Great Value bulb is actually about a year older too. While I'm overall pretty happy with these bulbs, especially for the price, I'll be trying a different brand or driving to the store for Great Value ones when I need more.
I have bought Amazon basic products before so I gave these a shot. The first set I got, 1 bulb worked, and the other was a dud. However, I wrote Amazon and they sent a replacement and it came pretty quick (approx. 2 days later) and I was able to replace both bulbs that I originally needed to replace. They work great! I would have given these a 4 1/2 because they work well, even outside. I was just disappointed that 1 bulb didn't work and I had to wait for the replacement, but Amazon made it right, I would definitely buy more in the future!
Let me just start by saying I miss regular light bulbs... A lot. I purchased these because I needed to replace 8 mismatched bulbs in my bathroom light fixtures. I went with these because they were kind of in between looking like the Edison style and the normal light bulb style. They're cute and compact. I'm totally happy with how they look! But the light they emit is not my favorite. It's yellow, which I expected, but it's nowhere near any kind of natural color. Alien spaceship tractor beam yellow perhaps? It's just not natural, but that's just the way these modern light bulbs are it seems... I'd still recommend these I suppose. They are better than most in my opinion!
These light bulbs give off a day time light which is great for lighting up a room. The bulbs always stay cool thanks to the LED technology. These are very nice bulbs and they arrived in a box to prevent damages or to store in your home until you need a replacement bulb! Very satisfied with purchase
