To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.

This is a very nice reversible umbrella I never have used one like this before, It opens up the opposite way of other ones and has a thick windproof Double layer material to keep the rain off of you. Has a long handle and very easy to hang up after use because of the hooked end of the handle. It also comes with a cover than you can store it in when not in use, It is quite large so can fit more than 1 person very easy under it. I like the way it looks when open has a different shape to it that most of them.

This product is junk! Unfortunately I am 3 days past the period for returns according to Amazon. Received it and loved the look but only used this umbrella 3 times! The third time as pictured, one of the rods shot right through the top of the umbrella. If there was an option I would give this NO STARS for a rating.
Have used it twice. I like that it’s not your usual umbrella. The design and case gives it a “007” flare, making it not readily recognized as an umbrella. The color print inside is quite mood uplifting on a rainy day. It’s a bit tricky when you close it after use and are holding it upright on the floor. The design does not support it standing because it relies more on the points rather than the usual ball of an umbrella. So no leaning on it like a regular umbrella! It has to be carried with care.
The umbrella is GREAT for keeping water off your car mats and floors at the stores/home. However it is not as large in diameter as the video led you to believe. The back of my legs got wet from the rain running off the back side of the umbrella. I tried to hold it further back but then the front of my legs got wet. I am use to a large Golf Umbrella, but if you are not, you will really enjoy it. Also, The umbrella is thicker than a regular umbrella, even the large Golf Umbrella. I does not fit well between the seat and door panel of my vehicle, where I keep my umbrellas.
When it comes to umbrellas I am really picky. There is nothing I dislike more when it comes to them than to be out in the rain, usually carrying more items than I should, have a gust of wind come down and bam my umbrella is upside down. So what is the first thing I do? I take it outside and I jump around like I am trying to fly away. I am sure my neighbors think I have lost my marbles, but I have found it to be a truly great way to test an umbrella's durability. This one held up beautifully the first two jumping sessions. Then it happened. No, it didn't turn inside out, the handle stayed in my hand and the rest of the umbrella went flying down my yard. Now, I got this umbrella for my mom. She is older, her skin is even more delicate and she can't handle the sun so she won't just be using it for rain. The handle is nice and grippy, the button wasn't so small or stiff that I think her hands will have trouble. But the handle separating from the spine of the umbrella is not cool. Granted I hope my mom never encounters winds like that and would simply stay inside, but it was important. I could see that a large amount of glue was all around the spine so I am not sure why it didn't adhere. I pushed the two in together tightly and jumped around some more and everything seems fine. I even tried tugging it on my own. It is something I will keep an eye on but if I need to I would be fine adding better glue myself. I don't think it is a deal breaker on this umbrella because it seriously held up well and didn't even start to flex. 4/5 stars because that was odd but since it assembled just fine and no longer seems to be an issue. I'd be willing to buy another for myself.
So I bought this inside-out umbrella without really taking a lot of time to investigate it. I broke my old one and it was basically spring monsoon season in the midwest, so I liked the flower design and assumed it was a regular umbrella, clicked to add it to my cart and bought it without reading the description or looking into the reviews. When it arrived, I wondered why the box was long and opened it to set my eyes on something very very different than what I thought I had gotten. So this umbrella is inside-out and has a oval handle. The handle is padded with waterproof material and very comfortable. It's also awesome for hanging on your wrist, or on a hanger in the closet. I unwrapped it and opened it. Much to my astonishment and delight, this is a really well-designed and well made umbrella!! It also looks amazing. I like that after I use it, the wet top of the umbrella is folded inside and away from me, thus keeping me dry unlike a traditional umbrella that when folded, dumps water all over my legs or car. Once in awhile one arm of the umbrella doesn't open right away, but I just gently pull down and it pops easily in place. Well made, looks good and well designed.
This is a great concept and definitely has some advantages over traditional umbrellas. I bought it because I was tired of all the rain soaking the inside of the car (and me!) whenever I collapsed an umbrella, and this one does help. The reason for 4 stars is that the release button is near the top - it would be much easier if it was lower on the handle. Also, it is very difficult to get it back into the sleeve. I hope they are working on a more compact version too - this is a bit unwieldy to store in the car and carry around.
Update: OwenKyne apparently saw this review and has sent a replacement umbrella. I will be honest to say I am surprised and feel that this company stands behind their product. The other umbrellas have been holding up nicely and since seeing our umbrellas other have become interested. I therefore bought a couple more as gifts. Good product - excellent company. Therefore I am changing my review from 1 star to 4 stars. ----- Due to my umbrella consistently being borrowed I bought several of these for my co-workers. When they arrived everyone was excited as we tend to have pop-up storms in the late afternoon. This is a perfect item for everyone to have at the office. Well, all the umbrellas didn't arrive at the same time. So I presented them in mid march. Yesterday - a storm slide through and my coworker grabbed her umbrella, prepped it to open when she stepped out and the handle just snapped right off. Now it is unusable. My frustration is that it is no longer returnable even though she had it for less than a month and only used it once. Hoping this is a fluke and the others hold up. Otherwise I will be out quite a bit of $
Update: the company is issuing me a refund because my umbrella turned out to not be windproof. Not sure if mine was just defective or not. I did not even ask, they reached out to me. Those are the values I respect in a company. Love it but windproof it is not. One good gust and it closes up and since it closes backward, well you get the point. Pretty and I will still use it....for now
The ad should show someone holding the umbrella. It is smaller than I expected. The opening latch doesn't always catch, so I'm standing in the rain pushing the button mechanism several times until it catches and stays open. The handle is easy to hold when the umbrella is open but when you are carrying it, you have to slide your hand through the opening. It doesn't just slip over your arm like a regular umbrella. (not quite easy when carrying things). The reverse design does help me stay drier when closing it while getting in my car though!
This umbrella is very cute. The style is great however, I thought it would be made of a little heavier material; the material is kind of thin, although it does have a double layer. The inside layer (the flamingo design part has a design of small holes all around, so I am concerned. I'm concerned of how well it will hold up in a heavy, windy rainstorm. Time will tell. I will update my review after I use it.
So I bought this umbrella because I liked the concept of it and it works as advertised. Now, I knocked off a star because its very difficult to get back into the carrying cover and you need to be careful when it is inside the case/cover that you don't tap down on the ground or hit the floor with the top of it because the metal tips broke off of my wife's umbrella and basically ruined it. Overall, if you treat it properly, it's a great umbrella and the patterns are very cool.
