The idea is really cool, but I didn't notice the size of the glass before ordering (for some reason I thought all rocks glasses were about the same size. They are not!). I can't believe none of the other reviews mentioned the size. Unfortunately the glass looks more suited for my 5 year old's hand than my husband's. He is an avid reloader/whisky drinker, so he thought the bullet was very cool, but the small glass looks ridiculous in his man-sized hand! =( I also purchased an ice ball mold (from another seller on amazon), but the bullet in this glass keeps the ball from fitting. Not that the glass was made for that, but I thought it was worth noting. I was so excited to give this to my husband for his birthday, but it turned out to be a bit of a "flop." A bigger, heavier glass would get 5 stars, for sure!
Attached photos so you can see all the dimensions. This glass is heavy bottom, nothing thin but not too thick. Held about 9 oz to top of glass. And washed really well and easily. Bullet is on the copper color side. Photos taken against a camel or honey colored leather chair as a color referance. My guy loved these. I paired 2 glasses with Bulleit Bourbon, some deluxe gold ice cubes and some "liquor nuts" as a gift. He said it was one of the best gifts he has ever had and wants to finish collecting glasses to make sets. btw.. ghe gold cubes looked amazing in the glass. You just can not go wrong.
I was at a bit of a loss for gift ideas for my (now) husband. He was a firefighter in the military at the time, already having all of the various “toys” and things that his heart desired. When I ran across these glasses, I knew it would be perfect for him! The company itself is family run in the state of Wisconsin, which happens to be his home state, so he appreciated that fact. The product came in a cool tin and was well-packaged. The glass is of good quality and the bullet doesn’t wiggle at all (which I was worried about). My husband gets the Battlbox subscription occasionally and was super excited to see that BenShot had a limited edition glass in the Mission 41 box! I say these things because when I was looking for one of these glasses to purchase, I saw that there were several other options on the internet. I am confident that BenShot is the better option, as they are more ethical (the limited edition glass benefits veterans) and better quality (using real bullets). They won’t disappoint!
These are not only good "rocks glasses" but they are real attention getters. They are one of the best, inexpensive, gifts I have found. Not one person has been disappointed with them. I have ordered quire a few and will continue to.......and they ARE STURDY!
Very very happy with my purchase. The glass is beautiful. I knew the glass was going to be small, but it is actually bigger than I expected, as I compared the measurements with whisky rock glasses I already have. I recommend it 👍🏻 great gift for a brother, dad, or any whisky and gun enthusiast
These glasses are so cool! I purchased them to a police officer friend who hunts, and he LOVED THEM. The bullet it real and does not move (you can't take it out of the glass). The glasses are a good size, not too big or too small and it's sturdy...perfect for a glass of whiskey. My only suggestion: The shot glasses came in a cool little "BenShot" branded box, I wish the rocks glass came in a similar box.
I bought two glasses for father's day, one for my father and the other for my father-in-law. Neither of them had seen anything like this and they were both impressed with the quality of the glass and the novelty of the embedded bullet. I was impressed by the quality of the protective materials used in shipping. Both glasses came in perfect condition and are exactly as described by the seller.
I bought this glass and also a .38 rocks glass for my sons’ birthday. He likes them, and they are real conversation pieces. He and all his friends are very into their weapons, so it was a great gift for him.
