Christmas 2016, I bought a gift card for my dad. In 2017, his house burned down in the Tubbs Fire in Santa Rosa, and he lost everything. I got him another gift card in 2017, and he told me he never got a chance to use the one I got him in 2016 before it burned in the fire. I contacted Amazon to see if there was any way to replace the destroyed card. The customer service rep was extremely helpful. He was able to check that the card I bought in 2016 was never redeemed, and he ordered a replacement card immediately. He gave us one day shipping for free and the card arrived the next day. I can't really explain how happy and emotional my dad and I both were to receive the replacement card. When you have lost everything, something this simple means so much. Thank you Amazon!!!
