Too fragile to put in your bag
Reviewed in the United States on September 24, 2018
I've had this tuner since November of last year, so about 10 months. It has worked well as a tuner. I liked the mic vs vibration option that made it possible to tune even in noisy environments.
What wrecks it all is the fragile ball mount on the back, as other reviewers have noted. If the stem doesn't find its way into one of the slots when the unit is folded, it breaks one of the plastic tabs that form the ball mount. I glued mine back with 2-part epoxy, but it will break again soon. It's probably the most critical failure point on an otherwise nice tuner. Sadly, for its intended use as a take-along tuner, it's a deal killer. I'll probably fuse the ball head together with epoxy for an at-home tuner on the music stand, but it's no good for the difficulties of travel.
