Top critical review
1.0 out of 5 starsNot accurate and not reliable

Not only it is not accurate but it is not reliable either. I wanted a wrist BPM because it's much more convenient than the upper arm models. I have a very good upper arm one but I do not use it as regularly as I would like because I have to take it out of the box, plug it in, etc., etc. To be fair, I have read reviews of other wrist BPMs and a large number of people have complained that they were not accurate. So, maybe this is a problem with all wrist BPMs. I could live with some degree of inaccuracy if the measurements were consistent. For example, if the monitor provided numbers that were consistently 10 or 20 points higher or lower, I could still use it as a quick method to check my BP (assuming that I was aware of the degree of inaccuracy). But the problem with this monitor is that it's not reliable either. Each measurement differs from the previous one substantially. I compared it to my upper arm monitor and successive measurements on that one did not differ by more than 5 points. Blood pressure changes and no monitor is perfectly reliable so small variations are to be expected. But this wrist monitor was giving results that were either too low or all over the place....it's useless! Overall, I suspect that this might be a problem with all wrist monitors. I might try a different brand but my expectations are now low.
