Purchased the white version of this coffee pot because it matched my decor, and I’m quite happy with it.
First, it truly is a NO DRIP/NO SPILL when pouring! I’ve bought countless coffee pots (some of them were quite expensive) falsely claiming this, but in this particular case: it is true and legit.
Second, I love the fact that it is short enough to fit underneath my low level cabinets, and still have room to place it on top of a pull out tray. I didn’t see any clear indictation if it’s measurements when I ordered: but for reference to those who would like to know; my machine measures approx:
12.25” tall (lid down)
20.25” tall (lid up)
8.5” at its widest
10.25” deep (at the base)
Third, the design is a simple one. Easy to program, easy to set, easy to use. It had a 2 hour auto shut off, programmable brew option, and a mid pour (aka “sneak a cup”) delay.
Fourth, my coffee seems to be hotter than other machines I’ve had in the past, and it’s able to maintain a nice, hot temperature while the burner is on without tasting burnt.
My only complaint to this coffee pot is that it tends to “explode” the coffee grounds in to the water reservoir if you use to much. I usually grind my own strong roasted beans, so instead of needing to use a typical scoop per cup ratio, I only need to use 1/2 the amount. This coffee pot can handle that with no problems. Except one morning I used the regular roast Foldger’s ground and used the standard 1 scoop per cup (12 cups = 12 scoops) but when I went to prep the machine afterwards I found clumps of coffee grounds inside the water reservoir. I was able to solve this by only using 11 scoops and didn’t have any problems nor did I notice much difference in flavor. Thankfully though; I grind my own more often than not so this isn’t a big deal to me overall.
For the cost and it’s features, this coffee pot is a great option if you’re looking for some mid range options and simple design. I’d buy this again.
