Will they last? I think these are better than most other brands

LEDs are low voltage current-driven semiconductors so in order to get them to work on 120VAC the manufacturer must put what is called a "constant current driver" inside the base of the bulb. These drivers are kind of like the ballasts or starters needed for fluorescent lamps which conversely are high voltage, voltage-driven devices and need higher voltages to start. It is probably true that the LEDs themselves will last almost forever, but the drivers seldom do.
I've used many other brands, but these seem to actually outlast the others. If you're going to use LED bulbs outdoors, pay attention to the ratings. Most drivers in LED bulbs will not live as long as advertised in uncontrolled temperature environments or in enclosed fixtures. Most inexpensive LED bulbs are rated for indoor use in unenclosed lamps only.
