I am very impressed with this adorable, Birthday Cupcake Gift Card Tin! I selected it when I bought myself a $50 Amazon gift card. Not only did I receive it quickly, but it is just precious! It matches the advertised picture perfectly. It's the perfect size, colorful, and something I will definitely reuse! It would make a cute container to hold other small items in or even work great to re-gift someone another gift card on his/her birthday. Please see my attached photos. The last photo shows the clear little vertical window which typically displays the back of your Amazon gift card (UPC # and Serial #). Thanks so much, Amazon!

I'm a little upset that I purchased the gift card? I just received a call from my niece asking if the gift card was from me? Amazon failed to enclose who the gift was from?

This is my second order of an Amazon gift card that came inside this lovely birthday cupcake tin. In person it looks even more adorable than the photo on Amazon! In my view this is for all age groups. It is so sweet. When the tin is opened, there sits the gift card which is in the same white and blue colors as the tin! And the gift card card is pressed nicely inside on the bottom that has a black faux velvet-like lining. In other words, the card doesn't move around--it is custom-fitted inside the tin but easy to remove. So that is another attractive feature. The back of the gift card itself has the serial number on it. And when the gift card is in the tin, you can turn the tin over and there's a "see-through" area that shows the card's serial number. You do need to take the card out of the tin to peel off the claim code area. What is so nice is that the recipient of this pretty gift card can use the tin again for whatever gift cards they might want to put in it. Amazon gift cards are always a perfect gift, and when they are inside this lovely tin, the gift just becomes extra special.

These gift card tins are great. The birthday cupcake tin with a padded interior for the card is a nice little extra to affix to a birthday card and does not increase the cost of the gift card. Also, there is flexibility in gifting denomination as the giver can choose whatever amount they wish to gift; the only downside is that the actual physical gift card will not display the amount if you choose something other than the standard $10, $25, $50 denominations.
Couple the one-day shipping with the fact that these gift cards can be put toward just about anything the recipient could possibly want and these are a great option for a last minute gift or a gift for someone who is difficult to shop for.

See the quality of the tin for yourself. I ordered this for someone and I did not have the luxury of time to wait for the replacement to arrive. I was embarrassed when my gift was opened in front of everyone.

My mother-in-law has sent met Amazon gift cards with the birthday greeting cards. They usually come with the card separate from the envelope ready for assembly by the giver, not really the effect I think she intends. This tin is another story. It made an impression from the moment I opened the package. I didn't know what it was. I thought it was some sort of product I had ordered and forgotten about. Not until I opened the tin did I see it was a gift card. What a lovely presentation.

I got this gift card for my wife, mainly for the cupcake tin. I do a lot of shopping on Amazon so the gift card will go to good use. I glued a magnet to the back of the cupcake tin and my wife has it on the fridge now to go with her cupcake themed kitchen.

Cluster of poor customer service.
Ordered Aug 20, unable to be delivered due to missing apartment # on order.
Amazon cancelled that card and resent.
Recipient unable to activate.
Amazon customer service cancelled that card and advised me to reorder ( Birthday now past).
Reordered, card billed an additional $100 . I won’t get the original cancelled $100 back for 8 days. Odd that they can take money out immediately but not return it as fast.
Amazon currently has $200 of my money, we have no gift card.

Ordinarily I buy gift cards, including Amazon gift cards, at a kiosk in a local store.
They get activated at the cash register when I pay for them, and -- boom -- we're done.
I ordered this one from Amazon since a) I was ordering other stuff, and it was convenient to add this to the order; and 2) it came in a cute "cupcake" tin, suitable for presentation as a birthday present.
Unfortunately, the card is not active when you get it. You either need to scan the UPC on the back with a phone capable of doing that; or you need to login to am Amazon account on a computer and activate it that way. Since I was giving this to kid too young to own a cell phone, and without her own "Amazon account", this was a little problematic.
I worked it out, but c'mon Amazon, get with it. When I pay you $25 for a card, just give me an activated card with $25 on it -- it's not like we're trading ancient artworks, or something.
Other than that, it's a gift card, in a cute box. What more can be said?
