Excellent stylish decanter! Works for 750 ml wines and does the job perfectly. Just a note for everyone else, they sell a 1200 and 1800 ml size decanter. The 1800 ml is the bigger one and is for 750 ml bottles....make sure you choose the right size for your wine decanting needs!!
It's a work of art. I am a huge fan of this product. It is such a versatile item to have in the kitchen. I have often used it for other beverages other than wine, though. Any beverage looks much more tantalizing in it. Orange juice is beautiful in this placed in the center of the table. Ice water even seems more desirable when served from this decanter. It's so perfect.
This decanter is a true work of art. It is beautifully crafted and flawlessly designed. I have used it twice and it performs perfectly. In both beauty and function, it is worth twice the price that I paid. it was also very well packaged for maximum protection during shipment. The seller has been great on following up to ensure that I was happy with the product as well as the delivery. I would gladly recommend both the seller and this product to anyone.
This is good for people who like to drink wine every now and then. Most times to savor the wine you need to the bottle back instead of leaving it out, this way yo can pour a decent portion and put the rest back for a much later time.
Gorgeous! Solid and beautifully crafted. It looks stunning on my table with red wine. When not in use, it looks great in the china hutch. The design is simple but effective as a decanter. I will be purchasing more as gifts to be grouped with red wine.
Definitely attractive. Very thick and weighty, which may or may not be a plus in your book.
As others have said, to get the last bit out you have to turn it completely upside-down which has been messy a few times. My previous decanter didn't have such a wide base and didn't have this problem, but the purpose is to create as much air surface area as possible, so it seems to be a fair trade-off. Also, you pretty much cannot pour a glass without that ONE drop running down the outside. Might just be physics and this way with all decanters, but I seem to notice it more with this one.
What I really like is that when you pour a bottle against the tall side of the neck, the liquid quietly fans out everywhere, seemingly covering the entire surface area of the decanter. This means more exposure to oxygen. which is the whole point.
