Angela, Ryder and Devon are back in A Raging Dawn, book two of C.J. Lyons intense Medical Thriller series, Fatal Insomnia. Just weeks after the life and death fight with an insane serial killer that brought them together and changed the course of their lives, Angelia, Ryder and Devon face a darker evil, one that power and corruption has brought down on the people around them. An evil that feeds off the pain and suffering of others, an evil that places no value on human life and lives to line its pockets with their deaths. As Angela faces the disease that has brought a death sentence to her she finds that she has more to lose then just her life and more to live for then she wants to admit. This book has such strong well developed characters and is so well written that at times it takes your breath away. C.J. has a way of spinning a web of fear and tension with her words and painting a picture that brings her characters and settings visually to life as you read. I can't wait to find out where she is going to lead us in this fascinating series!
I was honored to be an advanced reviewer and receive a free copy of A Raging Dawn in exchange for an honest review. Did I like it, you better believe it, I just purchased a copy of the book. I want to do all I can to keep great stories like this coming. CJ did a great job of continuing the first book and yet taking us to new places. Twists and turns enough for anyone. More great characters, and more development of the characters continuing from the first book. I knew I was going to have a hard time putting it down, after reading the first book in the series, and I was right, I did not want to quit reading. What a ride! Thank you CJ
I have waited a few days after finishing this book in order to savour the experience. This is a standalone book but a better read as the second installment of a surprisingly upbeat series. The excellent development of peripheral first book characters and a surprise ending whet my appetite for more. Thank you CJ Lyons for another pleasurable experience.
This is the second book in the Fatal Insomnia series. This is such a compelling story. The twists and turns are so effortless, that you don't realize what just happened. It made me want to read from the beginning to see how I missed the direction this book was going. Just a great story.
I read Farewell to Dreams awhile ago , and this follows along as a sequel very nicely. It is a litle crazy..the fatal insomnia thing, but a suspensful, almost terrifying story. C J Lyons certainly does know how to portray all aspects of a great mystery story. It didn't end quite like I wanted , but leaves room for the next book in the series. I look forward to reading it. Keep on writing C J Lyons .
This is the second book in the Fatal Insomnia series. After having read the first book, Farewell to Dreams, I was anxious for the second book to come out. Now I am waiting for the third book to be published. This is a series with a very different twist. I would certainly advise you to read this well written and complex series.
Dr. Angela Rossi, Ryder and Devon are back in this second book in the Fatal Insomnia Series. Dr. Rossi has more to fear than only her life and the evil that surrounds it. Ms. Lyons has a great way to bring these characters to life that makes you wanting to keep reading about them. Another great book by a wonderful author!
Great series by CJ Lyons. Love the characters and the storyline. Keeps you on the edge of your seat, and leaves you hanging on to what comes next for this couple! Sort of like "Who Shot JR?" from the old series Dallas.. Love that! Can't wait for the next installment!
Oh my gosh!! Another intense fatal insomnia series with so many unanswered questions. This book could keep you awake all night waiting for the "antidote"! C.J. has left me hungering for more once again.
