Amazon.com: Customer reviews: The Archer's War: Exciting good read - adventure fiction about fighting and combat during medieval times in feudal England with archers, longbows, knights, ... pirates. (The Company of Archers Book 4)
This is not a literary genius but he is very entertaining, I really enjoyed his books, uncomplicated straight forward with a enough history to make them worthy of reading. I particularly liked his information on the catholic church of the day and how they suffered the sexual abuse to later use the influence of the church to further the aims of becoming rich and powerful. The books are deceitful in that they seem simple adventure stories but they are much more and extremely dark in their aims. I loved them.
You must read all the story from the beginning, you will enjoy immensely, I know I am. The only problem I have with this story, is being able to put the book down. I just can't wait to see what is going to happen next. How on earth did England manage to survive this time period. This book will take you right there and put you right amongst it all. Not just interesting, but funny as hell at times.
The books seem to be getting shorter all the time! Also, I'm noticing more typos and omitted words or added words. The story is still interesting, but it seems they could be expanded for better reading.
