Too brief to satisfy me
Reviewed in the United States on June 15, 2018
I thought this book was too short to be a really satisfying read. It's easy to read, held my interest, and the author describes the lives and situations of some interesting people she met while in Saudi Arabia. But in my opinion doesn't let the reader know enough about her own very unique life, nor does it cover many of her life's years. The book is a short read that ends very abruptly with some brief concluding sentences to make it seem complete, such as, her relationship would grow closer and lead to talk about marriage. Then the book has a long appendix written in summary (rather than story) form to explain the further events and progress of the situation for women in Saudi Arabia. Following that there are some write ups about her other books.
