This is your standard Brita filter. It is nothing special, but is large in size if that's what you are looking for. You cannot really pour water until the filtering area is mostly empty, otherwise that water seeps out from this area. The filter needs to be replaced more frequently than I would like, which is why I subtracted a star.
Pitcher is nice and trim. Had trouble with getting the lid to lock in place but realized I did not have the filter seated all the way. Once corrected, it was fine. The indicator on my old pitcher died after quite some time. No complaints. It lasted a good long while. However, I do like having a visual when it's time to change the filter so I ordered a new one for that reason only. After following the directions to set the indicator I discovered that it does not blink green like it's suppose too. Not sure if it will blink when it reaches the other two levels. I have been a loyal Brita customer, even buying the individual water bottles with filters so I am very disappointed with this purchase. Would return it but I thru out all the packaging to it. If Brita values their customers hopefully they see some of the same complaints and replace the item as a good gesture.
I have had this for over two years. No complaints besides the fact that the green water reservoir will not come out easily at all. I have chipped the plastic numerous times trying to get it out and clean it. The upper lid also comes off a bit too easy, which makes it a bit too easy too spill. Time for a new one as this is just too difficult to work with. I've always used the Brita products and appreciate the good filtering, but i wouldn't suggest this particular model
Item is just okay but the problem is the LED inidicator. Not sure if defective or I am not doing the right thing. Twice already I replaced the FILTER and still the color after multiple press and RESET is still showing RED color. Hope to hear from the seller of this item.
The older model was more efficient as far as control over the pitcher goes when pouring a glass of water. If it’s too full, it spills out everywhere. The older version had less of a chance of doing that.
