Advice That Gets You Thinking About Spending
September 13, 2013
This book is very short and I read it in about an hour and a half. There were some interesting ideas and suggestions in the book about spending money and looking for bargains. I especially enjoyed that chapter about food. For me, even though the book was short, it was worth the price for the interesting ideas in it to think about. Even the suggestions that don't quite work for me were interesting. I always enjoy creative ideas and suggestions. I won't give away the author's suggestions about frugality here in this review, you should pay for them and read them yourself. I would have included the advice that you can save a lot of money by getting a pre-paid cell phone. I don't use my cell phone much and so I switched to a pre-paid one, and have only spent about $6.00 in the last three months, instead of my $40 monthly bill that I was paying on my contract. I would have liked to have read a book with more in it. I do have a gripe about some of the ebooks that I have been reading lately. The number of typographical and grammatical errors in these books seem to be increasing and I get distracted by the errors. This book does have a few typographical errors, but for the most part they do not detract from the readability.
