2.0 out of 5 starsAndy Pandy vs Honest Diapers vs Naty vs Bambo
January 22, 2019
I did a lot of research on diapers and was determined to get the most chemical-free ones for our baby.
Andy Pandy seemed like the best option. I was willing to take the blame for poo spills out the side and overlook the night-time leaks in order to avoid chemicals. In the end, however, these diapers caused a diaper rash that just wouldn't go away. It seems the liner of the diaper, which sits on baby's skin, isn't effective in keeping baby dry. Just because it's made of aloe doesn't mean much. We went through probably about 12 packs of these.
Honest Diapers were flimsy. We didn't even get through a pack—they just weren't worth it.
Naty was interesting. I didn't mind the papery texture. BUT they leaked regularly at night, soaking baby's clothes and sheets. During the day they were fine, and they also kept poos in check (no spillage). I did find, however, for really big poos, the edges of the diapers seemed nearly saturated (again, papery texture...).
Bambo (the original version in the green, I haven't tried the white packaged one) have been the best. No leakage, no poo spillage, no diaper rash. Winner!
Also, I recommend TruKid eczema cream. That helped heal the very raw diaper rash that we had with the Andy Pandy diapers!
