Top critical review
Extremely tight at the waist and stiff as cardboard even after washing.

I usually wear Lee jeans slim fit in a 34x30. I decided to try the closest Wrangler I could find in the same size, fit and color as Lee only because they were a few dollars cheaper. I am 5'6" and weigh 135. These Wranglers were extremely difficult to button at the waist--almost impossibly tight--but the length was as expected. Another negative, compared to the Lee, was that it was like trying to put on bendable cardboard. They are 100% cotton like the Lee's but nowhere the softer, smoother feel. Knowing they were already tight at the waist I nevertheless washed them hoping they would soften up, but nope, it's still like wearing bendable cardboard. Don't know if this is typical of Wrangler's or not (at least for this specific style), and it very well could just be my expectations, but I don't care for the small sizing at the waist or the stiff, uncomfortable feel. Also, the front pockets are very shallow compared to the Lee's. Back to my Lee's as I can't afford to experiment again.
