DO NOT BUY!!!!!! These treats are absolute poison. They are almost impossible for most dogs to properly digest resulting in intestinal blockages. Our dog lost 15% of her total body weight after indulging in a few of these treats. She experienced violent vomiting and bloody diarrhea for 4 days — we thought we were going to have to put her down. Our vet didn’t make the correlation between her illness and the greenies, so we fed her another one a month later. This time, over 36 hours after we fed her the initial treat, she vomited up a huge, green, fibrous mass which had never come close to being digested. She’s doing fine now, but I wouldn’t feed these treats to my worst enemy. There are thousands of similar stories if you dig a little.

My 15 lb bichon loves these. He wouldn’t eat other dental chews, so glad he chows down on Greenies and easily disgusts them.
I’ve rated 4-stars because they’re marketed to replace brushing, and while I notice some parts of his teeth look cleaner, other parts still need brushing. I think this is simply because my dog doesn’t necessarily use each tooth to chew so the Greenie has no effect. Also, I there’s very little effect on his dog breath, but pleased enough to give the other flavors a try.
My lil guy loves these! He takes it and runs away to hide and chomp away on it! They are a bit big so if he didn't eat too long ago, then I split it in half and give him the other half a little later. They smell minty, at least as minty as a dog treat can get. I knocked off one star because I can't totally tell if it helps with his breath. His breath isn't too stinky to begin with, but I can't tell if it's made a difference. It probably would make a bigger difference if I gave it to him everyday since it's a daily treat, but I give it to him every couple days.
I’m not sure what to say as the dog loves these – I will take his word for it vs. trying it for myself! I can tell the difference in his teeth since using these, and a bit fresher on the breath. While priced comparably to my local store, please note you can save 5% more if you use the subscribe and save option and they automagically show up at your door on schedule.
Now, I am probably not the one to rate the smell and taste, that would be up to our fur person, Kalisey. But, she knows when the greenie comes out, it is time for bed and she trots over to her crate for the night and settles in crunching on her snack. I appreciate the bulk pricing compared to pet stores and supermarkets.
Four legged buddy seemed to like them so o guess that means the flavor was good. I can’t speak about that personally though. Smell of them isn’t the best and in reality not sure if any of these dental treats really do much of anything to help. While the pup liked them, there are many more less expensive options out there that he likes just as much so I don’t thing I will buy them again.
My babies like them fine, I thought they would get cleaner teeth after sting then a few months, it didn't. I found OraVet on Amazon, teeth cleaners and at one a day, almost all their tarter is gone in less than two weeks!
These are voted best for preventative care. Helps create more time in between brushings for your dog, doesnt replace it. Dont know if our puppy will like them 😂 but good deal. I believe you can get the 72 pack at Costco for $3 cheaper, but...whatever. I didn't have to leave my house. Ha!
We have had a cat that developed some teeth problems in his old age. Our vet explained that animals today live much longer than they used to and longer than is probably natural. He says that they basically outlive the "design life" of their teeth. He suggests we brush our animal's teeth regularly - at least once a week. Well, we don't. There is just too much to do already. Who has time for that? So, I take some consolation in doing what I can to help my dog's teeth by giving him Greenies. They are too expensive for me to buy at the local stores, but getting them on Amazon is affordable for me.
