Forget about the album - go for the bonus songs!

This remastered disc sounds a bit trebly and light - there's no warmth or depth to it like my 1978 vinyl version of this album. I only bought this release for the bonus songs - and this extra disc is worth the cost of purchasing yet another 'remastered' attempt to reinvigorate new life into a record that put the Stones back onto the path of genuine blues, rock, and even disco. Yet, I would have paid the full price of this deluxe CD for just this one song, which encapsulates the purest mood of the Stones - "When You're Gone". Fast forward 40 years, and this song could easily have been included with their "Lonesome and Blue" double album. All of the bonus songs on the extra disc could have easily been compiled into an album between "Black and Blue" and "Some Girls". I would have titled it, "No Spare Parts".
