I bought the very first Martha Stewart Living back in the 1990s and thought it was amazing. Looked forward to it each month for years before I moved on. This last December, I decided to try another subscription. What a massive disappointment. The magazine is thin. Good Things is gone. No crafts, diy, or decorating. Almost nothing about home (unless you count cleaning, whoop-di-doo). Mostly it's ads or ads masquerading as articles (as in buy this product, buy that product, blah-blah-blah). I suppose if you're into cooking and beauty advise, you can get enough out of it to make it worthwhile. I'm halfway through the year and won't be renewing.

Love Martha Stewart Living!

I look forward to my issue of Martha Stewart Living every month! It’s always filled with great home and garden tips and some fantastic recipes, for both meals and desserts. I also like that they tend to feature products that are well made! Now that we’ve settled into our forever home and started a family, I’ve come to realize that quality over quantity is the best route and we’d rather invest in a nicer piece that we will enjoy and will last. This magazine gives plenty of those recommendations, which I appreciate. I also really love her calendar at the start of each issue that details her home and garden to-dos such as when to plant or what she’s doing to maintain her home/property and transition it from one season to the next. As a home owner and aspiring gardener, these serve as great reminders. The photos throughout are also gorgeous to look at!

Who doesn’t love Martha Stewart, now that she hangs with Snoop Dog! If you’re not a fan, don’t read the rest of my review - it’s not for you! I get one or two useful tips with every mag, and the thing I like most is her calendar. I tear it out to hang in my kitchen, and write my own to-dos and under-achieving tasks right under hers for the day. While she’s speaking at a CEO seminar, I’m thoroughly cleaning my canary cage. We are certainly kindred spirits.

I am a magazine addict and all my friends know this, but my favorites are food, home decor and living. This is my favorite of all of them. Every time it comes in the door I have to read it immediately. Chuck full of ideas, recipes and fun things to do, this magazine never fails to entertain me.

I think I was possibly a charter subscriber to the magazine--I've subscribed for years, and then suddenly I realized it wasn't coming: I must have forgotten to renew. I probably thought, "gee, I'm not into decorating my tablecloths with fern frond stencils" (truly, it was in an article!). Fortunately, I checked Amazon's price and WOW! I subscribed in a heartbeat! Martha (who's only a couple of years older than I am) and I lead such very different lifestyles, and my serious gardening years are over, but I love reading about her gardens and decorating and--yes, even the fern-frond tablecloths. Thanks, Amazon!

Good magazine, but onestly I was expecting less Cosmo and more living, household tips, etc. It is definitely oriented towards women and I thought that was sexist. Guess I need to read up on what offends liberals these days. I got my first issue and it's makeup ads galore. Hopefully it gets better. I trust Martha. It was on special so I decided to try it. What I don't want to keep I'll forward on to my mom.

My # 1 Magazine for over30 years!

This magazine is my favorite. I have been reading the print edition for over 30 years. I started the Kindle version a few years ago. I do miss the print version but the Kindle version works for me now. I will have to admit I don't like to throw away the print versions and would hoping to be able to keep my Kindle version alot longer than 1 years worth. I like to keep them for recipies I like or have not had time to try. Martha Stewart is a great lady and shares he knowledge and tips to those of us who think we can't do it. I can't bake and she taught me that I can. She shows shows such great tips and secrets giving us confidence that we can do it. Thank you Martha for all the great recipies and crafts you shown over the past decade ! I will support you to the end. You are an amazing woman! From one New Englander to another. Keep up the great work!

I love taking a long bath with this magazine on a rare quiet evening. Martha Stewart Living is a magazine that inspires me to break my blase routine and bake something, get crafty, or try growing a new herb from seed (and then subsequently using the herb in a new dish). It is so nice to pick up a magazine and not bother with the table of contents - just start at the beginning and read every article.

The writing is well done; descriptive yet concise with easy-to-follow instructions for the how to articles.

The ideas are fresh and unique. There is always something interesting and simple that I can make that will give me an activity to do, won't take all day, and will add interest or value to the overall project, be it dinner, a refinished piece of furniture, or my window box.

I think one of the big keys to success for this magazine is that it is something readers of all walks of life can enjoy. By that I mean that I am not a homeowner, I do not have a yard, I cannot put up crown molding or make drastic changes to my home, but I find significant value in the little ideas and projects in this magazine because 9/10 times it is something I can use or pursue. This is a big plus because I cannot make use of a lot of ideas in other magazines or on Pinterest because of my renter's situation.

I'm a fan and I just renewed for a second year. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

Martha Stewart is one of my favorite people anyway. I watch her cooking show on my Dayton PBS station/ThinkTV and have learned many of the basics from her. (Now if they will just air her baking program.) Martha Stewart Living is a magazine I look forward to receiving every month, so when I saw this discounted, I was thrilled. The magazine has a bit of everything for the reader from interior decorating, to cooking, to crafts, to seasonal fashion or skin care, to highlights of American-made products and companies. I love that each month gives a peek into Martha's calendar. I was like, "She went to the Super Bowl!" She even has a bit of accountability going on because she mentions her exercise schedule -- cardio, hiking, yoga, etc.

Where are my copper pots? I was so glad to see Martha's copper pot collection again in use for great recipes. The Vegetarian Gumbo will be my first fall dish. There are so many amazing menu ideas using fall vegetables. Decorating tips are always welcome and those moving their décor from summer mode into fall/winter mode will be delighted with the international themes and creative projects. I am digging out my copper collection and getting it ready for the punch of fall the first week of September!
