Not a happy debut

I’m always on the lookout for modern cello music, since I’m not a fan of classical. I was excited to “find” this duo and eagerly bought this album. The first track sounded like frenetic moths, and I found it energizing. The second track sounded like more frenetic moths...I listened to the entire album and quickly grew bored with their...yes, frenetic...sound. I’m going to take a chance on their latest because I saw a tv ad, and there was actual melody to be heard. However, reading the descriptions from “in between “ albums, it sounds as if there will be a lot of orchestral accompaniments, the addition of which ruined The Piano Guys for me, doesn’t make me feel confident the new album will be what I’m hoping for: cellos entering the 21st century with all the dynamic sound they’re capable of creating.
