So tight on the top of your foot it's painful
January 12, 2016
These are marketed as "nurse shoes" right? I don't know how a nurse, who's on their feet all day, could stand to wear these. Maybe I just need to give them time to stretch out (I've only worn them twice), but they are so tight on the top of my foot across the top end where it opens up. My feet go to sleep, the spot where it's tight is numb on my foot and it leaves a bright red imprint across the top arch of my foot. (I wear thin trouser socks with them.) It's really disappointing. I had a knock off pair of these, which were so light and comfortable; unfortunately the "leather" didn't hold up long. Thus, I decided to spend the money to buy the real deal and figured if the generic is comfortable, then these would be even more comfortable. Sadly that is not the case. Fingers crossed they will stretch!
UPDATE: They have not stretched. The attached picture is after wearing them for a few hours and after I've worn them about a dozen times (the picture doesn't do it justice!).
