A good reference for beauty products

While I am perhaps a bit too old for parts of this magazine (54), for me it is an excellent source to see what is new and recommended in the world of hair, skin, and beauty products. Unlike some magazines where products recommended within require a second mortgage on your home to pay for, Allure presents a wide range of products with various price points.

The magazine that arrived felt like a very cheap version. It didn’t look at all like a regular magazine. It looked like a sample or something. Very little actual content. Most of the magazine is ads. Even the little content there is felt like an ad.

I'm in my 50's, but I really like this magazine. There are a lot of different Perfumes and Face Creams in the book. You see all the new make-up and what's new. I want to stay up to date with my make-up.

they changed the magazine and it's just trash. i canceled my subscription.

I get Allure to learn of the breakthrough products for anti-aging; and reviews of other makeup/hair/skin products. But the magazine is so much of trends and for the young only that I can hardly wade through it.

Though it’s not as good as it used to be, I do enjoy the articles, but full of advertising.

I used to love ALLURE, but outgrew it. I decided I am never going to LOOK like anyone in the magazine, nor can I afford the clothes, accessories or makeup in there.
