Yummy, but I can't stack them in my pantry
September 29, 2015
The coffee itself is delicious...but the picture shown is deceptive. The product is not shrink-wrapped, it's in 3 separate cardboard carriers with 4 bottles each. I had wanted to stack them in my pantry, but that's not going to happen.
I think it's important to note that these are the SMALL bottles of frappuccino. They only stand about 6" high. This is stated in the ad (it says they are 9.5 oz bottles) but depending on what you're used to seeing in your local stores, these might be a shock to those accustomed to buying the 12 oz ones and not realizing that the pricing can't be compared apples-to-apples.
Still the price per ounce is good, at least compared to what I can get them for locally. The individual 12 oz bottles here in CA run about $3.29 and these 9.5 oz bottles work out to $1.66 each (at the price I paid; of course prices vary on Amazon from time to time, so YMMV). Per ounce, the big bottles are about 27c/oz and the small bottles here are 17c/oz. So that's about 1/3 off the usual price in my area.
I actually like that the bottles are a little smaller than what we can get in stores, especially since my teenagers really like these. We can still get our coffee fix with a little less sugar and caffeine.
