Absolutely a MUST for breastfeeding moms. I could not have gotten through those first weeks without this. It took me about six weeks to get comfortable breastfeeding. Now at three months I don’t need it anymore. Use a little dab after you breastfeed each time. Don’t skip it! It helps heal your nipples after each feeding. I am lucky that I overproduce and so I only give my baby one side each time she eats and that gave me even more time to heal after each feeding. This will stain clothing. All my nursing bras have little spots on the inside, but who cares about an ugly nursing bra anyway? You’re already going to leak milk in there. I used this on my baby’s chin too when she started to get a friction rash. Luckily it cleared it up in no time and she looked flawless for her newborn photos. You can even use this as diaper rash ointment. To all the new moms out there - you’ve got this! The first two weeks are the hardest and then I promise it gets way better! My baby is three months old today and I hardly remember the struggle of healing from a c-section with no sleep trying to figure out how to feed my baby. I felt like I was a terrible mother but we eventually figured it out. Don’t be afraid to pump for a few days to give your breasts a break and just bottle feed your baby. You can always supplement with formula if you need to. “Fed is best” and driving yourself insane isn’t good for anybody...but either way get a tube of this stuff. It’s the bomb!
