I gave up the larger single wrapped Wintergreen Lifesavers in favor of these small rolls of Lifesavers. I felt the larger ones were more difficult to communicate with it in my mouth so I would end up biting it just to end my occasional treat. The smaller ones are perfect and I always have a roll in my car and purse.
Have you ever heard of bubble wrap? How about trying to wrap some of that around EACH container of lifesavers?!!! I would say at least HALF of each roll is mostly broken up pieces which end up loose in my pocket and now.... the paper itself has been coming undone so the whole roll is exposed! What's up with that???!!!???
The candy tasted fine but unfortunately most of the mints were broken. The box that the rolls are in is very thin so to ship it in only a large padded shipping envelope did not afford sufficient protection during shipment. I think it would do better to be shipped in a box rather than an envelope.
Four of the lifesaver rolls were damaged/open. Found a fifth roll. The boxes were packaged properly in plastic so may have been a Manufacture error. It was a bummer because the rolls were to be xmas favors i needed.
I ordered a 20 roll package as extra for wedding favors being made for our daughter's wedding. The package arrived quickly and on time but the side plastic wrap around the entire package was open and a couple of rolls were missing! I tried one roll and unfortunately it had several mints that were broken inside. Also two rolls didn't have the green wrapper on them and they were at the bottom of the package. Luckily, we only needed a couple of rolls otherwise the order would have been a big disappointment.
I bought this expecting them to taste the same or similar to the far far superior Breathsavers variety of sugar free mints. Unfortunately, these are horribly chalky tasting and I just dumped them in my office kitchen and forgot about them. Save yourself the regret and buy the Breathsavers instead.
