I'm sorry I strayed. Please take me back!

I had the same Mach3 for 7 or 8 years before accidentally letting it get tossed in a recent move. When I went to buy a new razor, I ended up getting a Schick Quattro Titanium under the assumption that four blades was better than three blades. The whole five blades + flexball on the Gillette Fusion seemed excessive. Also, the Schick razor was shiny. Anyway, boy, was I wrong. It turns out that apparently the actual design is important. The Quattro couldn't handle the minimal shaving that I require and I ordered another Mach3 after a couple of disappointing uses. I missed you, old friend. I was actually shaving the back of my neck after cutting my hair and was reminded of the smoothness I had been lacking in my life. Also, it is so much easier to get the hair out of these blades—just a few swipes through some water—that it really cuts down on the overall time and effort involved with shaving. The razor industry can keep adding on as many blades as they want to with their new razors, but as long as Mach3 cartridges still exist, I'm never straying again.
