I took a chance on this book and lost. Just a ridiculous narrative of violence and unconnected scenarios devoid of any semblance of plot or character development. No suspense. No flow of one scene to another. Just raw violence without a hint that the author had any goal other than to write a book.
I love a good werewolf tale & this one starts off fast in the forests of Romania. Then the scene switches to London, where the werewolves are trying to take over, there & everywhere. I liked Liz, the lady cop but the rest of the other characters didn't do much for me. So I didn't care if they got horribly eaten or not. People are aware something is wrong & don't know what. But with werewolves running all over, no one has a decent picture for the news? I wanted to like this book more than I did. I'll look at Book #2 and see if I like it more.
It’s a decent read. The story is a nice turn on the Zombje Apocalypse theme, but not the most imaginative. It certainly isn’t a masterpiece, but a fun read if you’re into End of the World People vs. Monsters stories.
