I am so impressed with this book and its tone from what I have read so far. I have read many Trump books and this one is very comprehensive and one written from an author with Trumps personal invitation and open access. It says a lot about the Author and Trump and his administration alike. You won't waste your time or money investing in this one, if you are after the truth.
It took me four days to read this. In the acknowledgements, it was said that 400 pages of this book were left on the cutting room floor. I have read a lot of books about Trump, but this one was so extensive. You see Donald through many sets of eyes and hear many accounts of him through people who are close to him. I was soo impressed with this book. I wish I could buy it for you if you were still doubting whether you should buy it because of lack of funds,

I really enjoyed reading a book about a great president that really told the truth about what we don't always hear about this president especially. I also appreciated hearing from President Trump's family and various advisers about his character, empathy for others etc. Especially it is good to read a book by someone who is familiar with presidents & their families, someone who doesn't have an ax to grind but getting the truth out!
I got the book the day before Thanksgiving, couldn't put it down, read past midnight. Yes, it was refreshing. I'm sick of the constant negative from the media. It never stops. Thank you Doug Wead for a beautiful positive book. I'm like most who voted for President Trump, we have a deep love for America. We don't like to see and read so many constant cruel attacks against the leader of our nation and his family. I wish some of the mainstream media would read just a few chapters in your book and start feeling good, at least for a few days around Christmas. Doug, come to CA, I'll buy another book if you autograph it. It's a book to save for our great-grandchildren to read, about a President who loves and does all he can for the U.S.A.
Doug Wead, who is a well-known historian with lots of experience of interviewing Presidents and their families (he wrote so far only 31 books), has produced an ideal Christmas gift for all never-Trumpers. Those, who still struggle with the fact that 63 million people in 2016 voted for Mr. Trump, may find in this book what a compassioned man Mr. Trump is -- he felt sorry for the ladies at the Javits Center who were crying when Hillary lost --; what a great trust he has in people – he put Laura Trump, his daughter-in-law in charge of delivering North Carolina – and what a super family man he is – all of his kids were involved for weeks and months to campaign for him. Those who don't like Mr. Trump because of his outlandish character, may find in this book the grounds for his domestic and foreign policies, including avoiding a nuclear war with North Korea, building a wall to limit illegal immigration and keeping drugs out, moving the US Embassy to Jerusalem and the like. May this book of Dough Wead help many more to understand that we are living in the best of times, thanks to the leadership, hard work and dedication of Donald J Trump (and his entire family).
