Disappointed With the Book, Certainly Not With the President
January 9, 2020
Doug Wead supposedly received death threats for writing this book. That was enough to make me purchase the book. While I love President Trump, and I am already wondering what would happen to this country when the likes of Peter Strzok, James Comey, Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters, Adam Schiff, etc. resume running the country, I find the book to be a disappointment in that the hard truths about our government and major crooked politicians (including ex presidents) were simply glossed over. I expected that the Deep State which has not abated its attacks on President Trump would be mentioned innumerable times. The only explicit mention of the Deep State was made by President Trump himself. That the Deep State is constantly trying to sabotage our President is not mentioned. The interference of the Deep State is ever present in this administration, yet it does not even warrant a coverage. Why was Doug Wead getting death threats? What part of the book warrants his getting death threats? Trump supporters already know President Trump is not the ogre that the Deep State make him out to be, and he has done more for this country than most of the past presidents combined. What this book has missed accomplishing is to awaken the sleeping part of the population to what is really going on in our country. The Deep State has been on a rampage in our country for decades, robbing all of us blind, and keeping us all in our slavery status. President Trump courageously dares to stand up against the Deep State and all the book talks about are the slights from the press, and other mundane topics which quickly underwhelmed me almost as soon as I started reading the book. Ben Garrison can draw one caricature and deliver more of a deep message than this 400-page book.
