So far so good. I've had this bot for about a week after my last vacuum, a Deebot, died rather suddenly and unexpectedly about a month outside of warranty. (Side note: I purchased the 3-year Asurion extended warranty for this vacuum so hopefully I don't have to shell out another $$$ in a year.) Anyway, this vacuum is good so far. I was pretty nervous to buy a vacuum that at the time only had one review and it was a 5-Star review. But I held my breath and hit "purchase" and so far don't regret it. The vacuum is quiet enough to binge watch "The Office" while it works and seems to do a good job picking up my Lab's hair and all the random crap my kids drop (food, dirt, leaves, etc.) It's REALLY quiet on the first level, but I usually run it on the highest level. I can run it while my kids sleep. You can also have it set to change suction when it goes from hard floor to carpet! Doesn't seem to get stuck in weird places like the last guy did (His name was Dexter, btw. RIP DEXTER!) I haven't tried to use the magnetic strips yet but I might eventually. That was actually a selling point for me because I figured it might come in handy. There are also a few replacement parts in the box, which is nice. And the remote and app are both user-friendly. You do have to keep your house picked up a bit which I was already trained to do by Dexter. I also like that this bot (I named her Hannah) leaves carpet lines - albeit all crazy and zig-zaggy. I don't care - carpet lines make me feel like my house is clean. Yeah, Hannah cleans RANDOMLY and that's VERY CLEAR in the description so the reviews being upset about that are written by people who didn't read, I guess. I mean, go spend $500 if you want a robot that maps your house. Remember, I have 2 kids so I don't have $500... Anyway, I bought this vacuum and a Deebot to see which one I liked best and returned the Deebot because of their meh customer service and the fact that my sweet, precious Dexter only lasted a year. Eufy was quick to respond to my questions via email, Amazon chat AND PHONE! I am a little bit of a researcher. So you can trust this review, haha.
I am not changing the rating on this vacuum, yet. Hannah's side brush is making a terrible grinding noise on carpet. No idea why. The company is sending me a new vacuum so we will see how the new bot lasts. I'm disappointed but I know there can be lemons in any product.
New vacuum is having the same issue as the first. Such a disappointment. 5/8 - Customer service has been extremely responsive and has let me know that the side brush motors have been improved. I should be receiving (yet another) new vacuum shortly. If nothing else, their customer service is wonderful.
