After I purchased the CD, I saw the download price for both Mac and PC matched the lower CD price (for about 12 hours), and also included a $10 Amazon gift card... would have been a great deal for anyone who purchased the download at that time. Perhaps such a deal will return.
I have been using "Premier" for several years and yes. . .Just enter the information from the brokerage firm or mutual fund - Not for commercial properties. . .Most people rely on a tax accountant, etc.
The Federal filing is free, but state filings are extra in that you will be charged for an e-file. Keep in mind that you can always download your state return and then opt to print it for mail in purpose if you want to avoid the extra cost
