When connected to a PC with a non-defective disk inserted, it appears to Windows as a remove-able disk drive. At that point you can access the files, or perform a secure erase on that drive. Fora defective drive, I'd recommend a sledge hammer...

Had the same issue with my WavLink product, but found that if I plugged the USB cable into the most current version of my USB ports on my computer the product then worked as advertised.

It will work, after the cloning is complete, you just need to delete the bad sectors.

2.5 sata are much smaller than the 3.5 slots. . . .you have to purchase the 3.5 bay adapter for desktop computers . . . for laptops measure your original HDD and purchase the appropriate size

I have the usb 3.0 wavlink and power supply is rated 100~240 50/60Hz so it should work . . .my power supply came only with the standard 100-120 plug so you may have to purchase the 220-240 plug adapter
