That’s a good question. I’ve never asked anyone over the phone how the quality of sound is, but I’ve also never had anyone say I sound bad, cutting off or anything like that. So I’m assuming the quality of sound from the receiver is perfectly fine. I use my soundpeats to talk on the phone all the time.

I find the ear fins very helpful in securing the ear buds into the ear canal. The fin fits into the fold of my ear. It is comfortable. I understand that eveyone has different ear configurations. I suppose you could take the fins off. If you are concerned, look for another set of earbuds that look right for you.
