I have mine always connected to the power so I'm not sure. I do know it with go to sleep which saves battery life. This thing is wonderful.

If you need it constantly on, I'd recommend a device you get constant usb power w/o battery. Sides, it connects pretty fast once you turn it on. see less

This device is designed to be paired with a Bluetooth audio source and plugged into an auxiliary input on a stereo or car. I don't think it can be used in reverse to play music to wireless earbuds.

Best advice is to just get an aux because they just put out a Bluetooth signal they wouldn’t connect

If other Bluetooth things show up on your ps4 like Bluetooth speakers then this should. The device puts out the same signal as Bluetooth speakers.
