I weigh 400 lbs and am 6 feet tall and I find very comfortable. I do not sink in more 2 or 3 inches. I am on a TATAGO 3000lbs Max Weight Capacity 16 Inch Tall Heavy Duty Metal Platform Bed frame. I have no problem with it squishing through the 6 inch apart slats.

I’m not sure but I’m on the heavy set side and I jumped on the bed and stood on it and it was fine!

It’s not an actual boxspring but the base is very sturdy and supportive. You don’t need a box spring.
