It's got a teflon coating. So far when I mistakenly hit the steam button it blasts it back up giving me a steam facial. I've washed one of my sheets and although it is not as firm steam still does not go through. Maybe in a few more washings it will, but I wouldn't get this for steam setting anything.

Of course you can! You can use whatever quantity you like. They will not bond together. The function of this sheet is to allow the user to work with sticky things like hot glue or fusible web and peel it right back up, effortlessly.

Yes, you can bake on the teflon sheets, it's FDA certificated, it's safe, you can use them for baking without any doubt.
