Hi Gary. The ingredients on my box say Saccharomyces Boulardii lyo 250mg and Lactose 33 mg. Other ingredients are Magnesium Stearate and Titanium Dioxide. Hope that helps.

I do not know- it was prescribed by a physician after I finished the antibiotic treatment for C- Dif. I feel better than I have in a number of years. It was prescribed for two months. I plan to take it every 6-8 months to keep my colon healthy. In the interim I will take other broad spectrum probiotics.

I can not find the Titanium dioxide free from Amazon, got mine from Publix, if you goes to Florastor site you can print out a thief coupons that will save you $4.00 per purchases.

The active ingredient in Florastor is our probiotic strain: Saccharomyces boulardii I-745.

In healthy volunteers Florastor can stimulates an increase of lactase, the enzyme which naturally breaks down lactose. With over 50 years of use worldwide, we do not see data showing a signal or trend in reporting of adverse reactions or side effects, from Florastor consumers sensitive to lactose.
