I wouldn't consider them an alternative to toothbrushing, but I think they reduce plaque. So far, the vet has not noticed any tooth problems (our dog is only 2 years old, though).

Greenies Dental Treats are just what the name implies ... a dental treat. Recommendation from the manufacturer is one treat per day. It is not formulated to be fed in lieu of a complete balanced dog food.

Hi - I just read the label. The answer is no, the Grain Free Greenies do not contain chlorhexidine.

I’ve never seen them individually wrapped. Doesn’t mean they don’t exist but I’ve not seen them.
