I just called and spoke with a human at the number listed. They said the ph is between 6.4-7.4.

I guess if you really wanted to you could. They're no different than any other water bottle. But they do have the little security strip you tear off for the sport top so you would just want to wash it. I don't we use mine but obviously they can go in your recycling

I read the entire bottle - it doesn't say anywhere (VERY small print) but I couldn't find it..... Sorry.
