The shipping weight of the table is 200 pounds. The table will weigh around 5-10 pounds less than that due to packing material adding extra weight.

I opted for the front door delivery. The table is in 2 pieces and actually pretty light (still need two people due to the size) and was easy to move upstairs.

I'm not an expert but I live in Florida so my problem is the opposite, the Heat and Humidity is what destroys our table, so we keep our table in a cool, temperature controlled environment. Ours is not on carpet, but I think it would work fine on carpet. There are four wheels & two legs on each half. The wheels can be locked & it doesn't appear that the legs would snag on carpet.

I would think it would be fine if you keep a cover on it. My neighbor keeps their table in the garage and has not had any problems for the past 3 years. We live in a dry area so we do not have much moisture in the air. Don’t know if that would be a factor in outside storage if you live in area with a lot of rain.
