Mine is set to record only on movement within a defined space (you can define the boundaries for movement in the app) at which time it also sends me a notification. It is quite sensitive to movement even when sensitivity is decreased. It also sees a change in light in that area, such as car headlight brightness on objects in that area, as movement so starts recording. see less In other questions/answers, YI has said that it will record continuously for 4 days on a 32 gb card. It is a great camera to start out with. It is made of cheap plastic, but is very sturdy and small. It takes up so much room tho. Cable is long but is a fire hazard, not a big concern. It is a bad camera! I like it tho because of the picture and ease of access with the app. Careful because it sometimes doesn't work after 4-5 months. Hope this helps. see less Yes it is a camera, but not a good security camera. It is not good for viewing but has a wide view and sharp image.
