"The Model D is covered by Concept2's limited five year warranty on the frame and two year warranty on the Performance Monitor and moving parts."
We do not recommend purchasing additional warranties through Amazon (if offered) because Concept2 is unfamiliar with the company selling these services. We have built a product that is easy to repair for the at-home user, so if any issues come up after the warranty expires, spare parts are both affordable and easy to install.

The monitor screen is monochrome LCD, so really doesn't offer much potential for games. There is more motivation to be found I think in the RowPro software (available for a fairly nominal fee from a third party company), which enables you to row against other (real) people online. There is motivation to be found in the monthly Concept 2 challenges (see the Concept 2 web-site). I am an enormous fan of the Concept 2 erg and I would strongly encourage you to buy one. But you need to convince yourself that you like rowing or, at least like most of us who are serious about this machine, have a love/hate relationship with it. I row with a crew three times a week and I find that helps - there is a lot to be said for camaraderie and mixing up the stroke rate and pace to make the workouts more interesting and train your body to work efficiently in different zones. I hope this answer helps. You can do a lot with the machine, but there isn't really much in the way of games to be had. see less It has some very basic games such as throwing darts at a target, and a game where you are a fish and eat other fish, but the games are fairly basic. Technically yes, but you would need to take it apart each time. It doesn't "fold" without coming apart.

It came in one huge box via United Parcel Service (UPS). The box was really beat up but we accepted delivery - and inside the one huge box were two smaller boxes in perfect condition. Love our Concept2 Model E Indoor Rowing Machine!
