Any K-Cup Pod will work in this machine. It is a very nice machine. Much better than the Keurigs

I use exact pods I used with my old Keurig and they are round. BTW I love the Cuisinart SS-10. It iis much better than Keurig

Mine is new and does not make any noises that are unusual or loud. In fact it is super quiet.

You can get hot chocolate kcups, do lower setting, 6 oz and add whipped cream. My wife makes it all the time

I have not used the hot water button, but our granddaughter used it to brew her tea. My husband just uses the brew button, even for his tea, and it works fine for him. I try to make sure that the area inside the brew part is always wiped clean so no coffee remains are there to flavor another beverage.

Nope. I have both of this coffee maker and a keurig and they both have the same thing that punctures the pod .

I occasionally have the same problem. Remedies that I found effective are 1) Clean clean the needle orifice by using a paper clip. 2) turn the machine on, remove the water reservoir. No it is just a refillable tank that also won't brew when the water level gets too low. (it gives a screen message to add water)

Bought mine this summer, love it. It does splatter some but after two Keriug pots that only lasted year and 1/2 each this seems much better.
