I don't know the exact dimensions, but it comes in a box. It was about 4ft long, 2ft high, 2ft wide. And probably about 70 to 80 pounds.

It does not swallow you up. Be careful with the edges of the mattress. There is no support there. If you sit on the edge of the mattress, you will slide off. I have to be very careful when I get up. I have fallen off the bed because of the lack of support around the edges.

The green tea foam is a convulted support foam which is softer but doesn't provide the same level of quality sleep as a solid foundation of support foam.

I think the king would be a little better to have some more roll room, but it has enough firmness that it wouldn't feel like one was sinking into it. For sure would go for the 12" in that case, just for the extra cushion...everyone likes a little extra cushion. I am 6'1" and this bed gives me the right length so that i am not falling off the edge. You can add plywood boards between the mattress and the bed frame for added firmness.

Amazingly, this mattress was at its full depth within minutes of unpacking it. We tried it out within ten minutes of letting it rest and it was wonderful. We allowed it to rest for 24 hours before sleeping on it, though.

Yes it is we had a sleep number before it and this is far better than it I defiantly would recommend this mattress
