Answer:
Bugs are not shipped with the product from factory. Even if you discount the additional shipping weight bugs would add, it would be too much of an animal husbandry to raise so many bugs. I couldn't find a bug supplier on Amazon, but you can try to look up on the world wide web if you are really interested.

To open you cut the shrink wrap and whoosh the mattress/springs starts to expand. I let mine sit overnight to allow for maximum expansion. I purchased the queen size, it is very firm so I added a foam topper from WM ($30) + padded mattress cover on top of a standard box mattress and it suits my son just fine. I don't see why this wouldn't work for twin bunk beds. The only issue, since the mattress is not a standard depth mattress there is a gap between the head board and the mattress (may not be an issue with your twin bed). Nothing a couple of propped up pillows can't solve (to hide the gap between mattress and headboard). Hope this helps? Good value for the price. see less Hi! Answer:
The springs seem strong in it, I wish you couldn't feel the springs through it though, you need a soft mattress pad over it in my opinion. My kids don't notice though

Answer:
Yes. It is even comfortable for a smaller adult although a bit firm, you can't feel the springs unless you step in one spot.
