They arrive in shrink wrapped box. Potassium hydroxide is the electrolyte used in most primary alkaline cells and it is good to well below zero. They have good shelf life. Better low temperature performance than zinc carbon. Continue to function in sub-zero temperatures.

Im still not sure if these battery's or even alkaline n also the ones i bought some weren't fully charged coming out of the pack but some was , from my experience alkaline after really low charge if u wet them u get a little extra these i don't know

I believe so, but one of these recently leaked and damaged a lighted mirror, so I wouldn't put one in a flash.

While these probably don't last as long, the difference is not so that you'd notice. That being said, I don't use mine for high-use items. Mainly for things like remote controls and the like

I depends on the light and well the battery compartment is sealed. They are no more or less corrosive than any other battery
