I use them exactly for that. To dry/polish my black top range and marble counter top. And yes, they are totally lint free. But, you need to wash them separate from cotton fabrics, otherwise it will take up the lint from those fabrics over time and then they become much less usable.

I use these to clean my computer monitor and TV screen so I think they would be safe for your fish tank as long as you don't get any sand in the cloth when cleaning.

I'm not really sure. These are very soft. I use them to clean my guitars which have lacquer finishes. They leave no marks.

Don't know grams but I can say for sure this cloth is big and thick unlike those others sold at home stores or even kitchen specialty stores

I throw mine in the washing machine with the covers for my steam mop and throw rugs from the bathroom. Just don't use fabric softener, it makes them less absorbent.

Actually they've worn pretty amazingly. After all the washing a they have only very slight wear
