Some kind of simi-plush fabric. My opinion, it is a good mix between washable and warm-ish. Any plusher and poo stains would be hard to wash. The actual material is 100% polyester. Hope this helped :-)

The changing pad cover does not have a safety belt, the safety belt is on the summer infant changing pad itself. The cover has two slits that you put the safety belt through, the cover is very easy to use with the belt.

I would test it out prior to purchasing it. Sears and other stores have the same cover in different patterns.

It would fit but will be loose. The changing pad I use is 3 inches thick and it fits perfectly

I too own the Summer Infant contoured changing pad, but seeing that both are the same 16"x32" dimensions, I would say that this cover will work for the 4-sided changing pad.

Its been holding up real well. I wash it along with her baby clothes on delicate cycle and both warm and cold water. After many months still looks new! If you feel it might not hold up with many washes then you can possibly hand wash it.

You can pretty much use any of the pads they are mostly a standard size. I ordered the: Summer Infant Contoured Changing Pad Amazon Frustration Free Packaging when I got the cover and it fits great.
