It's just an amazing towel to be honest, and is highly recommend getting a couple and using them throuout the home like we did. It is well worth the money.

First thing is to make sure to remove all the dirt and grease while washing the car, as thin as this towel is anything on the car will be dragged across the surface causing swirls and scratches. It's very soft when dry. It's not like a chamois that hardens and must be wet again to absorb water, it's a soft microfiber cloth with a waffle pattern that absorbs water quickly.

I have a "Carbon Flash Metallic", Black, Vette. This towel has very little streaking, the least of anything I have ever tried. It leaves Xena shining like a new diamond. I highly recommend

I don't believe this product needs to be machine washed a lot. I just got mine and used it once. But I was able to ring it out and let it dry with no problem.
