Unboxing took about 45 minutes and assembly took about an hour. Assembly was not hard, but one stage of assembly is best done by two people because of weight of the parts.

Not bad. I did it with my 9 year old daughter in about 30min or so. Some of that time was dealing the very large boxes that it comes in. Great machine. Worth every penny.

The Model E Indoor Rower requires the installation of the front and rear legs, the monitor arm, pickup cable, and the Performance Monitor using a total of 10 screws. We include the necessary tool and clear, illustrated instructions. Allow about 30–45 minutes for the job.

It was pretty straight forward, took about 45 mins. Diagrams could have been a little more illustrative.

It took me about 45 minutes and is relatively straight forward. There was a missing part connecting the monitor to the machine. Unfortunately, Amazon wouldn't send it to me unless I disassembled and returned the entire machine, which is a non-starter. I'm purchasing the part directly from Concept2, but I can still use the machine without the monitor in the meantime.

It comes mostly pre-assembled. It took about 20-30 minutes to fully assemble, if I recall.
